I was abused as a child and the anger, hurt and damage remained until I sought help with Sussex Psychology. Working through my difficulties has been a revelation. I still have a way to go, but the benefits of therapy are incalculable.
Professional and warm and with lots of practical ideas of how to help us understand our children who are really not coping. The team were very supportive and helped us reach a better understanding of trauma.
I always thought therapy was something for wimps but after my wife died, my two girls needed help and I didn’t know what to do. I was a wreck. The therapist who saw them was amazing; she got them to talk about their feelings and it has been a godsend.
We’ve been going round and round in circles for years struggling as parents. Whatever we tried didn’t seem to work. Our GP referred us to Sussex Psychology and it has changed our lives. All I can say is a big thank you for helping our family.

I didn’t think we were going to keep things together or manage anymore. We lost faith in getting the support we desperately needed but Sussex Psychology were a blessing at the right time for us. I can’t thank them enough for helping us understand our child and helping us to help him.

Believing we had failed as parents we were on the brink of giving up our adopted son. He was becoming so aggressive and angry. Through the support we’ve all had with Sussex Psychology we have learned how his background has affected him and it's helped us change our approach.
If I need to ring for support, I don’t feel like I’m asking too much and the office team always go out of their way to make sure that I can speak to our psychologist when I need to. I feel they have gone above and beyond what we expected after spending years in CAMHS.
I was working in London, struggling with my career in the city and my OCD just spiralled out of control. I didn’t believe anyone could help me and am still surprised I didn’t lose everything… Thanks to Sussex Psychology I am back on track.
I was referred to Sussex Psychology by my Psychiatrist for PTSD. I was sceptical at first, but have to admit therapy really helped me hugely. I know that there may be triggers in the future, but I now feel confident I can cope and am optimistic about my future.
